Our superb safety record was rewarded in May 2008 with the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Medal Award. This presented to companies who achieve 5 consecutive Gold achievement awards and recognises our robust Health and Safety  Management System and maintaining an Accident Frequency Rate (AFR) lower than the national average.

Ashridge also won The British Safety Council's International Safety Award in May 2008, again for the sixth consecutive year. This award is presented to companies who demonstrate significant achievements in Health & Safety as well as excellent accident statistics.

All Ashridge haulage and plant operators hold a Construction Plant Certification Scheme (CPCS) card and log book.  This fulfils the Major Contractors Group (MCG) initiative of having a fully qualified and competent workforce.

We are extremely proud that 98% of our employees have passed the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Health & Safety Test and have been accredited with the relevant Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
