Bridgework
We can provide Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) in order to maximise cost and value benefits. We aim to use modern construction techniques using state of the art materials where appropriate.

River & Canal Works
Our in-house expertise enables us to identify with our clients, potential problems and prepare solutions that comply with Health & Safety requirements.  Our experience ranges from building canal troughs/ aqueducts to side ponds.

Enabling Works
This type of work is usually programme critical and with our own operatives and site management we are ideally positioned to respond quickly to our clients' requests.

Retaining Walls
Our experience covers all forms of construction, whether they are in association with infrastructure, commercial/housing developments or rail.

Flood Control
We are registered on the UVBD database in order to carry out works for the Environment Agency and water companies.

Drainage, Sewers & Culverts
By undertaking such works in-house we have developed teams of specialist operatives able to carry out work in difficult ground conditions. We are approved on the UVBD database.

Pumping Stations
Our experience covers construction both below and above ground level. We have experience of sinking shafts and the design of temporary works to undertake work in a safe manner.

Piling/Sheet Piling
This work is undertaken either for temporary or permanent usage. Typical projects will involve river bank protection, temporary excavation support and retaining wall construction.

Earthworks
We use the most cost-effective methods to carry out earthworks operations on our sites, where possible using our own plant company. Re-use and recycling of materials is always a key objective.

Design & Build
Together with our specialist design partners, we advocate Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) to understand constraints and identify innovative value engineering solutions. At Ashridge we passionately believe this is key to ensuring both programme and cost certainty for clients. Therefore every effort is made to ensure that Ashridge are involved at the pre-tender stage of the project, if not the design phase.
