READING GATE RETAIL PARK CAR PARK CONTRACT

Ashridge won this 4-week contract at Reading Gate Retail Park  for the construction of new vehicle and pedestrian entrances into the existing car park area. The park is located close to junction 11 of the M4, off the A33 Reading Relief Road, directly in front of the Madejski Stadium. At approximately 19,593sqm this popular retail park has 9 retail units and 2 food outlets.
Works involved the demolition of existing walls, alterations to the existing carriageway slab, new kerbing, hard landscaping, installation of new lighting and new bespoke gates. This contract has required close liaison with the Reading Gate Retail Park management to avoid disruption with deliveries and public access to this busy site.   Peter Jones, Managing Director commented, "Ashridge has built a strong reputation for our proven ability to work with retailers and residents to ensure least disruption on schemes such as this one at Reading Gate Retail Park."
